Your newborn session takes place between 5-21 days after birth in my warm, welcoming studio, designed for comfort and calm so your baby feels settled from the moment you arrive. I offer a variety of wraps, textures, and gentle posing setups, along with backdrops ranging from soft, light, and airy to rich, moody tones - so your gallery feels timeless and personal to you. Sessions are unhurried, typically lasting around two hours, giving plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and nappy changes, with your baby always guiding the pace. I’m here to help soothe and support your little one, creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience while capturing timeless, meaningful images you’ll treasure forever.

Between sleepless nights, recovery, and everything feeling new, many mums worry they won’t look or feel like themselves yet.
I want to reassure you that newborn sessions are gentle, unhurried, and designed with mums in mind. You don’t need to “perform” or pose - your role is simply to snuggle your baby. I guide you softly, choose flattering light and angles, and focus on connection. One day, you will look back on these images, that celebrate the incredible new life in your family. You simply arrive, cuddle your baby, and breathe. This is a pause - not a performance.

Before your newborn session we have a relaxed planning meeting to make sure every detail feels just right. Together, we’ll explore your favourite styles from my past sessions, discuss clothing options, and talk through any concerns - like settling baby or helping them feel calm and comfortable. My goal is to guide and support you every step of the way so you feel confident, prepared, and excited for the session ahead.
We’ll also talk about how you would you like to enjoy your images, whether it’s a beautifully designed album, a curated print collection, or timeless wall art to display at home. After your session, you’ll view your gallery of images within the week and select your favourites, which I’ll then transform into lasting keepsakes that capture this fleeting, magical time in your family’s story.
